Hatterdashery has been around a while! Michael Loeffler began custom-making hats when he was a mere babe, and has perfected his hat designs over all those years -- handmade, adjustable, lined hats and caps, using only the finest woosl, linens, velvets, leathers and cotton/denims.
A St. Paul, MN native, he handcrafts hats from his own classic designs, enjoying the quality fabrics and offerring his fine workmanship. Hatterdashery caps are adjustable, washable (cold water), wearable art.
Michael moved to Seattle in the early 1970s and had his hat shop on NE 55th St near the University of Washington for many years. Once the kids grew up, Michael closed the storefront and moved to mail-order, online and art fair only sales.
Hatterdashery hats speak for themselves--and are often referred by word of mouth--or flipping the hat off the head and showing the admirer the Hatterdashery label. Michael likes it that way. Thanks for the great support and notes and recommendations and comments over the years!
